"CCNN Live" or Christopher Columbus is doing a lot of sports related topics on that I think we could get inspiration from. First, when you open their website at ccnnlive.com, you immediately see their sports scores from the day before. I think we could do something similar for our new Ustangs.com website and link the twitter with it if the game was tweeted live. I attached a quick draft of an example of what we could put on our website. This would also help make our sports blog look less like the wix template because it would help look at other things. Also "The Buzz TV " at Fort Mill High school in South Carolina has twitters for every TV student. I did not dig deeper as to what they use their twitters for but we could use ours on the UStangs sports by tweeting out the game and having the handle @UStangs_JOE, for example. We could have separate "UStang Reporters". These twitter could be linked to the scores from last night and in our lower thirds. If one reporter plans on going to an away game they could tweet out the game on their "UStangs" twitter and they could have an announcement during the sports portion of NHS Update. e.g : "volleyball plays Milton away tonight in Milton, but don't worry if you cant make the game, we are sending out our Ustang reporter: Joe Spadorcia will be tweeting the game live @UStangs_Joe" *over the shoulder graphic* You are probably wondering why we dont just use the twitter we have been using for years? Because theres not personal connection. Having your own twitter for this exact purpose becomes a learning experience to how to have your own voice through the twitter. You can choose your own style and take your own videos and pictures to go along with it.
